ABOUT JIMMY:

Person, husband, father, pastor, preacher, teacher, Seminar leader, business trainer, workshop facilitator, consultant, spiritual counselor.
Grew up in Los Angeles, lived many years in Kansas. Disciples of Christ, Baptist, Charismatic. M.Div. and D.Min. from Princeton Theological Seminary. Ordained 1970 and American Baptist pastor since 1978. Writer - news column, two published books. Teacher - adjunct at college and seminary level in biblical studies, business ethics, and pastoral ministry. National speaker and seminar leader with CareerTrack and Fred Pryor Seminars. Director for a national bivocational ministry project with ABC-USA Intentional. Interim minister.

Additional training

The enneagram a tool for personal transformation. Extensive reading in Christian spirituality. Ongoing training in management and leadership. Continuing research in effective skills for interpersonal communication and interaction. Conflict transformation and mediation training.

Grew up on a farm in rural Minnesota. Baptist for most of her life with brief excursions elsewhere, with appreciation for many traditions. B.A., Wheaton College, Illinois. Short-term missionary in Mexico & Central America. M.Div. (And course work for Th.M.), Bethel Seminary, St. Paul, Minnesota. Youth pastor, co-pastor, interim pastor, solo pastor. Seminar Director for Prepare/Enrich premarital & marriage enrichment training (13 years).
